Today we celebrated 10 years of being a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation. Our RIC statement of welcome is as follows: Creator Lutheran Church welcomes you to come – as you are, where you are, and who you are – and join us in worship, fellowship, and ministry. The Gospel reveals God's astounding grace as an unconditional gift of love for all people, so ethnicity, socioeconomic status, physical or mental ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or marital status are not barriers to our invitation. Instead, as an inclusive community grounded in God's love and following Jesus' example, we celebrate the diversity of God's creation.
Hi friends, Pastor Ray has an extra copy of ‘Scouting the Divine’ left over from last fall’s Bible/DVD/book study. It’s free for the first person who wants it!
Dear Creator family, Please be aware there is a pastor scam going around, emailing parishioners under their pastor’s name requesting gift cards in large amounts as gifts for a variety of reasons, including cancer victims. If you get one of these emails that claims to be from me, please ignore it and delete it, it is NOT from me! It is important that you DO NOT OPEN any emails from this address: [email protected]. If you open it, this enables them to sell your email address to other scammers. We’ve had two reports so far of emails under this address asking for gift cards. Thanks for your vigilance and do help spread the word, please! In Christ’s love, Pastor Ray
